Creux Harbour

Despite the tiny size of Sark, the Island has two harbours. Creux Harbour was the original harbour where two new piers were built in the 19th century to accommodate a steam boat service from Guernsey. The other, called Maseline, is the new harbour having been completed in 1949 after works were suspended during the occupation. It is Maseline Harbour which welcomes both passenger and cargo ferries daily.
Fishermen and yachtsmen now use the picturesque old Creux Harbour, which also has a small enclosed beach that attracts children and adults alike.
